Rachael Barton Counselling, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Rachael graduated from Brunel University with a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design in 1998, which led to the launching of her first career in Architectural Design and Project Management. After working as a designer using CAD systems, Rachael soon found herself working for a successful company with a proven record of providing a blue chip client base with architectural, design, and project management services. Rachael’s role within this company has included design consultancy and managing large projects from inception to final handover, serving one of the UK’s most successful FTSE 100 companies as well as managing projects within Heathrow airports alongside BAA.
During Rachael's role as a Project Manager working with various building consultants and disciplines, she realised that her people skills were her greatest asset. This led her to research into the field of counselling, which soon became the direction that she decided to pursue in 2003. Rachael’s creative role as a designer and consultant as well as her highly responsible role as a Project Manager coupled with her training as a qualified counsellor, has enabled her to use her collective experiences to coach, consult, and provide confidential counselling services to major blue chip companies and their employees. Rachael's private client base is located mostly within Buckinghamshire. In addition to providing counselling to private clients, she also provides individual and group supervision.
